Lord of the Leopards cd cover

Lord of the Leopard

Sheffield Folk Chorale

The Sheffield Folk Chorale was organized in Sheffield, England by Graham Pratt with a mission to promote and perform less well known winter and Christmas songs. In the five years of their existence they have produced three CDs of music taken from a variety of sources, but they continue to emphasize the traditional. The Chorale has a fine tradition of contributing a portion of the earnings from their CDs to worthy causes.

Their latest CD is Lord of the Leopard. While searching online for a suitable photo to grace the CD cover, Pratt came across the Snow Leopard Conservancy and our photo of Asha, the Leopards Etc. poster leopard. He contacted us asking for permission to use the photo and offered to make the Conservancy one of the worthy causes the Chorale supports. When you purchase a Sheffield Folk Chorale CD not only will you get some beautiful music, but you will be helping to save snow leopards as well.

As enticement we've included a snippet of the eponymous track, “Lord of the Leopard”, so close your eyes, open your ears, and imagine you are sitting in the Sheffield Cathedral Quire...
“Lord of the Leopard” (.mp3 file – 827 kb).

CDs are 10£ and may be ordered from Graham Pratt: g_pratt2001@yahoo.co.uk
