In 1981 Rodney Jackson was granted a Rolex Award for Enterprise which was instrumental in helping him launch his pioneering radio-tracking study of snow leopards in the remote mountains of the Nepalese Himalaya. In the years since, Rolex has monitored Rodney’s career and, from time to time, reported on his work with snow leopards. The February issue of the Rolex journal, Enterprise, devotes its end page to Snow Leopard Conservancy’s work and highlights the Conservancy’s efforts to secure safe corridors through which snow leopards could move from one protected area to another.
